Psychological Evaluation Services for Maine Students and School Teams

Services
We believe that every child deserves the tools and support to thrive at school and in life. Through individualized psychological evaluations, we partner with families and school teams to help adults better understand a child's challenges, and move forward together.

At PIVOTS, we can accept referrals for most school-based concerns, including Autism, Intellectual Disability, ADHD and related disorders, Learning Disabilities, and social/emotional challenges including anxiety and depression. Our evaluations are provided through contracts with public school districts, and are billed primarily using a predictable flat-rate structure. Parents/guardians are an important part of the evaluation process for every child.
School District Partnerships
We contract with school districts to provide psychological evaluation through the referral process.
Maine Special Education
We know the special education system in Maine, and we write evaluations with the eligibility process in mind.
A Child, Not A Label
We believe that talking about disabilities can help us better understand struggles, but it's never the whole picture. A child is always more than a label.
